I just installed chr1schi--s.modpackage.8.8.Version.1.1.a

Its my first fully working version. I thought the stats might be useful for stalking the best player then I can learn a few tips from watching hm, especially as its my first few days in a heavy and I don't have much of a clue what I'm doing in there.

The player info I get is like thiis - 5k 1256 50% - and I'd presumed that the first is Battles and last is Win rate but whats the number in the middle?

I thought it might be AVG damage or WN7 but none of them match mine?

It's your/Their Effeciency. It's calculated differently than WN7 and such.

Speaking of mods:

Nothing beats the borderline illegit damage announcer. Not only do it tell "what ammo" hit the tank. It tells:
 - Who in which tank, even undetected.
 - Enemies exact reload.
 - Damage taken.

Efficiency ah thanx...Oh dear...mine is embarrassingly low and not rising very quickly.

So I just checked and noobmeter measures my overall efficiency at 635 yet in game it displays as just 195 Embarassed  so is it because it calculates it differently or because it doesnt update the stats very often? (mine has only really risen this high in the last week or two)

@daddlar that sounds an interesting mod but right mow it might just cause me to panic more when taking hits.

I use Jimbos cross hair and XVM config, but I have turned off all the ingame stats and coulours because they just get in the way for me

If we're recommending mod packs a monkey could use. I'm your test monkey/gibbon.

Google "anfields mod pack" get version that matches game version.

Draw distance square on minimap along with max view range and pointer for gun direction.

WN6 above player icon in game tells you all you need to know.
Number I your mod pack can also be WN6, xvm does not use wn7. Though from what praetor was saying as I recall, they will possibly be going to wn8 when it's released.

Anfield's also has reload counter and a nice clean gun sight plus a neat summary of your session so far in the garage.

Gibbon.

I personally use a modpack from a friend of mine.
can be found at http://wot.medi.li

I disabled the info panel though
and use different settings in the avatar_input_handler.xml
so I have stabilized sniper whithout all that shaking
and different zoom settings (0.9 / 4 / 8 / 14 / 24).
