I like arty (sorry guys)

it's my guilty pleasure, still playing arty... i love the french premium 105leFH18B2 crews is up to 366% including BiA... here's some recent results...

No need to feel guilty about Arty, I love it too, 51% of my games worth to be exact! You will see many people saying "Arty is a no skill game", if that's so, why do we see so few arty players? I'm thinking they can't get to grips with predicting, leading, flight time etc, so take the easy path and say it's for noobs.

You have some great results there, puts mine to shame :p

I dislike the concept of arty as it is now (too much, not-so-tactical, grump, grump), but I will have to play arty in order to get my engineer ribbon on the Brits. And the French. I don't want any other engineer ribbons (thank god).

BTW, the leFH is a damn good arty, it was my ticket into my former clan, making 6 kills on it in a game, and letting the other guy (a then soon-to-be clanmate) pick up his 7th kill.

I used to love arty, then WG butt-fucked it and I sold nearly everything, I roll in TDs now

I like artys too ;)and after 8.6 i did not sell any of them  

I still have mine as joint top teir.
If i am in the artillery mode i get into i am a fearsome opponent.

I was tempted to buy the LeFH as it had roughly the stats of my beloved M7 and wasn't going to get nerfed.

Was a big artillerist myself until 8.6.

I have yet to try out ANY arty, but from what I've seen in battle they sure can be effective in the right hands.

But after a poor start in WoT I'm currently trying to improve my stats so maybe now isn't the right time.

I attempted to try it out on the test server but never seem to get to start a battle on there in any way shape or form.

Maybe I need an alt for this kind of practice?

well see what happens in 8.9 - it looks like it's just the russian spg's are getting a buff (remind what nationality WG are?) i might be tempted to get the SU26 back afterwards for a bit of noob bashing...
